Summary
The readings tell us that no matter where we are or what role
we are in, we have to be constantly aware of our duties. If we work diligently in
fulfilling them, we will have no regrets when God calls us to answer to Him.
Reflection
Holy Family Church offers the program “Living Your Strengths”. It is an amazing
tool to find out how we naturally think and do things. The program categorizes
34 natural ways as “talents”, and guides us to turn our top ones into strengths.
We can learn how to best concentrate in doing what we do best. This way, we
can excel in the things we do as well as utilize our unique qualities to run a better
life. We can also further direct our strengths in serving God by contributing in ar-
eas that interest us. By completing the test for free that comes with the program,
one will find his/her top 5
“talents” in order of signifi-
cance. Anyone who has com-
pleted the test can attest to it
how incredibly accurate the re-
sults are.
At first sight, it seems rather
inadequate that the program
lists only 34 “talents”. The fact
is
according to Gallup Research
Statistics, the chance for any-
one to have the same top 5 in
ANY order is 1 in 275,000; for
anyone to have the same top 5
in
SAME order is 1 in 33 million.
