it is, most of my students gathered a bit of insight with that metaphor.
Jesus promised that the holy Spirit would provide instruction, on living
our lives. If we disregard all the gifts of the Spirit we do so at our
own peril. The holy Spirit is the giver of wisdom, understanding, right
judgment, strength, knowledge, reverence and wonder and awe.
What those gifts we are more prepared to face our lives, armed with
God’s precious gifts. God offers these awesome gifts, it is our call,
it is our
freedom
to choose
to follow
our God.

Holy
Spirit,
giver of
life, you
come to
me with God’s love and care, providing me with counsel and protec-
tion. May I always listen to your voice within, showing me the way to
fulfillment.
