A long-time friend of mine, an Episcopal priest, used to say we must attend
mass regularly to “feed our soul.” These words have helped me over the years. I
need to be reminded of the Word of God through listening and reading, and
sharing with others. My Christian daughter believes we should not take Grace for
granted. She said she heard recently that people who take sin lightly, take God
lightly.
God knows our path, and we must always do our best to be prepared.
Prayer
Dear God, thank you for all the gifts you give, for watching over us, and for pick-
ing us up when we fall. Please, God, help us to live by your Word in our daily
lives and to be freed from sin. Please, God, help us be faithful stewards knowing
you are always with us. Amen.
