Beatitude is
“Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter
every kind of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad,
for your reward will be great in heaven.”
As a child, we always said grace before eating. Each one of my sib-
lings had a verse from the bible. I don’t remember when I learned it,
but as far back as I can remember, my table verse was always
“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.”
Prayer
Holy God, we thank You for all your many blessings and we look for-
ward to being with you and the angels around Your throne, singing
hymns of praise. We humbly pray that we can live a life that is pleas-
ing to you and that our Attitudes for Christian living will become the
Beatitudes which you gave us. Strengthen us to be Disciples of
Christ and we will always give you the honor, praise and glory in Je-
sus’ name. Amen.
