hat I learned during the seminar
is
that
God has given me certain talents and if I work to add both more
practice and more knowledge about that particular talent I am honor-
ing the God given talent that God has given to me. I am good at
planning, I am good at learning things and
in
using those skills, I am
a good teacher!
I, like the shrewd steward, am using the gifts that God gave to me. I
can use these gifts in self serving ways and I can use them to bring
great glory to God and God’s church. I believe I am called to use
God given talents, not to hide them. Like the steward, take i
n
itiative
with worldly treasure and use it wisely in this world to gain an advan-
tage in the world to come.
Prayer
God of all good gifts and talents,
You put me in charge of the wealth of my life.
Then you show me all the good that could be done with what I hold.
You send me the hungry to feed, the lowly to lift up, student to teach,
and people to love,
May I always be a wise steward.
