Summary
Some people ignore God because they do not feel the need to follow
Him. However, God never abandons us. He is always here, always
ready for us. All we need to do is ask.
Reflection
A lot of people I know are non-Christians. They are full of love, kind
and live a moral life. Many are confident, intelligent, educated, experi-
enced, responsible, successful…an asset to the society at large. They
believe they work hard and possess what it takes to live a fruitful life.
They respect other’s religion, but they don’t think they need it because
they are tougher. Religion to them is for the weaker crowd who don’t have as
much mental power or ability to control life in general. I have even heard a cou-
ple friends who told me people go to church because they have problems they
don’t know how to handle. Sounds familiar?
I find it interesting
that this group of
people recognizes a
higher power. They
think it may be God,
Buddha, or some
powerful being; they
just are not sure
what. When neces-
sary, they will go to
church or a temple
or both to ask what-
ever the higher being
